At the beginning of the spring equinox, as the snow melts and life is renewed, so too is fae magic.
When people awaken from the torpor of the winter months and the days grow longer, so too does the need for a good giggle.
Conveniently, fae magic is powered by giggles, mischief and positive energy!
As such, the courts of the fae conceived of a holiday centered around the spreading of positive energy and laughter to both maintain the magic of the fae and revitalize the spirit of the mortals.
In cultivating cozy and comforting vibes, mortals are lulled into a sense of security ripe for the giggle harvest. This holiday, conveniently places in the last week of March, is celebrated by our very own fae, Enya aswell!
How best to prime moretals for the harvest of their positive energy is up to the individual fae. And what better way to evoke cozy thoughts than to think as a hobbit does! It's for this reason that Enya's celebration will be drawing upon the comforts of Tolkien's fantasy worlds.
The greenery of the Shire, the cheer of hobbits and tons of games and giggles will surely provide the magical sustenance needed for the renewal.
In celebration of the rebirth of fae magic and of life in the season (her "rebirthday", if you would), you are cordially invited to cozy up, grab your hydration method of choice and maintain the magic with the community from March 25th to 31st.- March 2025

Faerie wings have the ability to glow by a method that is sort of a cross between fireflies and how blood makes luminol glow.Faeries have been observed soaking their wings with human blood several times a year and then when they eat jellybeans, they convert the jellybean's Red40 into a special chemical that is catalyzed by the iron in the blood plus a pixie enzyme which results in luminescence.Gone are the days where faeries had the dietary requirement of stockpiling seasonal flowers to be used for producing the same effects after a few hours that a jellybean could produce within seconds-- and now with longer lasting glow, too!- June 2025

Eithne Faeria (aka the Silly Citadel or Silly Spire) is a faespire kingdom of hilarity and joy located in the sundrenched Will'o'woods of the faewilds. It is built upon a multi-trunk species of eldertree that stands tall in an idyllic grove surrounded by colorful flora, glowing mushrooms and other eldertree kin with their own faespires. Through Eithne's dense canopy, sunlight dances on the babbling creek below which entwines with the eldertree's roots before trickling elsewhere. The architecture of the faespire twists up its trunk, the spiraling pattern broken up by large branches with willow-like foliage cloaking several structures along the way to the royal castle at the top.Eithne Faeria is ruled by a council known as the Day's Eye who now collectively oversee the denizens of this faespire after their Queen abdicated her throne. Said to be the embodiment of the eldertree itself, Enya Faerie was conjured to represent Eithne Faeria as its own member of the newly ruling council. So while she is technically an archfae, the apple fell quite far away from the tree because Enya does not take her duty very seriously, often flying off to forage and frolic whenever she pleases. While most faefolk have a penchant for nurturing the earth and caring for critters, often leading a life of domesticity and harmony with their local woodlands, Enya instead found she preferred venturing out and exploring beyond the safety of the canopy.On her travels, Enya encountered all kinds of magickal folk from goblins to dragons and managed to make friends with many beings and critters alike! One particular short-legged creature with sparkling eyes and excitable temperament, fondly named Diggity, came to be a loyal companion of hers, following her everywhere as she went about her adventures. However, as exciting as meeting fellow magickal beings were, they're not dissimilar to the faefolk, often sharing their way of life. Upon seeking something out of the ordinary, Enya had heard about a specific being that was very unlike herself. In fact, these beings didn't possess magic at all.. Humanfolk.There were, of course, none to be found in the faewilds-- or at least not for long enough to speak with one. Nevertheless, when Enya wasn't out exploring, hoping to stumble upon a human one day, she was poring over records of these beings in the Citadel's library.- September 2025
